Now I’m playing around with wet and needle felting. A friend of mine gave me some beautiful nuno felted scarves that totally inspired me, so of course, I had to try something. I had thought of felting before, but couldn’t figure out how to incorporate it into my work. Most of what I had seen was too corny for me, but once I did more extensive research, I found many beautiful and inspiring creations. I thought for my first attempt I would embellish this crossbody bag I had started some time ago. It’s a pattern I altered from a bento bag pattern. I think it’s okay, but I am hoping my designs will get better with more practice and experimenting.

I’ll post the finished bag when I’m done.
