These rustic wool mug rugs are handwoven . Wool is naturally flame-resistant and insulative, making it a perfect choice to protect your kitchen surfaces or tables from heat or scratches. Makes a lovely mat to place under a vase or bowl.
I hand weave each item from natural Shetland and Tunis wools. See below for optional backing.

Option 1: Two-tone, 7″x 6″ approx. not including fringe

Option 2: Brown stripes, approx. 6.5″x 6″ not including fringe

Option 3: Dark brown wool tweed, approx. 6.5″x 6.25″ not including fringe

Option 4: Cream stripes, approx. 6.5″x 6″ not including fringe

Option 5: Blush stripes, approx. 6.5″x 6″ not including fringe

Option 6: Dark brown tweed and orange churro, 6.5″x 6″ not including fringe

Optional backing: Synthetic felt backing
I offer a backing as optional which strengthens the weave structure, but since the backing is a synthetic felt and some prefer a natural product, you will need to purchase this option separately.

CLEANING:
Spot cleaning is recommended. If you find the need for washing, use cold water and gently wash and air dry. Use a warm iron on the wool setting if pressing is needed.
